Traffic arrangements at Dadar Station

            In view of the smooth flow of traffic and convince to the commuters following traffic regulations made effective for 24 hrs.

1.         ONE WAY ” for all types of  Motor Vehicles from Shubham Veg Hotel (Hanuman Mandir), Dadar Terminal Railway Station (East) upto Lakhamsi Nappo Road, Electrical pole no. LNR/57/A and Bella View Building. 

2.         “NO ENTRY” for all types of Motor Vehicles from Lakhamsi Nappo Road, Electrical pole no. LNR/57/A and Bella View Building upto Shubham Veg Hotel (Hanuman Mandir), Dadar Terminal Railway Station (East).

        The Traffic Police would also be placing Directional Boards to guide the motorist/ pedestrians besides Traffic Police Staff being posted at these places to render assistance, and to ensure that lowest inconvenience is caused to the road users.

In view of the smooth flow of traffic and convince to the local public following traffic regulations are made effective for 24 hrs. till the completion of Tata cable line excavation work.

1. “ONE WAY” for all types of Motor Vehicles plying from Antophill Police Beat Chowky, Mukundrao Ambedkar Road towards Pratiksha Nagar, Sardar Nagar No.1 (Flank Road) and will exit from Dukkar Galli, Makkawadi Junction on Mukundrao Ambedkar Road.

2. “NO ENTRY” for all types of Motor Vehicles from Mukundrao Ambedkar Road, Dukkar Galli- Makkawadi Junction to Hemant Manjrekar Marg towards Pratiksha Nagar & Sardar Nagar Road No.1.

3. “NO Right Turn ” for all types of Motor Vehicles plying from Pratiksha Nagar Best Depot towards Sardar Nagar No.1, (Flank Road) via Shivaji Chowk from OM Dugdhalaya & Eel. Pole No-SKH/18/1

The Traffic Police would also be placing Directional Boards to guide the motorist/ pedestrians besides Traffic Police Staff being posted at these places to render assistance, and to ensure that lowest inconvenience is caused to the road users.

Notification on traffic arrangements for the construction work of King Circle Flyover at Matunga

In view of the construction of obligatory span work of King Circle-Tulpule Flyover Bridge, Matunga following temporarily traffic regulations made effective for 24 hrs.till completion of obligatory span work.

All kinds of Heavy vehicles including BEST buses, Tourist buses, School buses, excluding light vehicles plying from Five garden, Matunga towards Ruia Junction, Hindu Colony will take left turn at L.J. Road Junction towards Dadar T.T. for proceeding to Ruia Junction, Hindu colony.

“No Right turn” for all kinds of south bound vehicles plying from Dr. B.A.Road at
L .J. Road Junction.

All kinds of heavy vehicles including BEST buses, Tourist buses, School buses, excluding light vehicles plying from Ruia Junction, Hindu Colony towards Five

Garden will take left turn at L.J.Road Junction towards Maheshwari Udyan Junction for proceeding to Five Garden.

All kinds of north bound vehicles plying from Dadar T.T. towards Five Garden will take right turn under King Circle-Tulpule Bridge on Dr. B.A. Road.

Traffic arrangements at Matunga Traffic Division

In view of construction of concrete work at Road No.29, Sion(East) and in order to facilitate smooth flow of traffic and safety of people following traffic regulations will be made effective for 24 hrs till completion of aforesaid concrete work.

1. “No Entry” for all types of motor vehicles plying from Road no.29, Sion (East) from north to south direction i.e. from Shanti Niketan building to Tamarind tree situated at the junction of Road no.28 & Road no. 6

2. “No Parking” of all types of motor vehicles on Road no.29, Sion (East) from Shanti Niketan building to Tamarind tree situated at the junction of Road no.28 & Road no.6 .

In view of construction of concrete work at Edenwala Road and in order to facilitate smooth flow of traffic and safety of people following traffic regulations will be made effective for 24 hrs till completion of concrete work.

1. “No Entry” for all types of motor vehicles plying from Edanwala Road ( Electrical Pole No.AD/1 ) to Gamrubhai Oza Chowk ( Electrical Pole No. AJJ/3 ) for 24 hrs.

2. “No Parking” of all types of motor vehicles on the Eastern side of Edenwala Road (Electrical Pole No. FGT/11/E) to Gamrubhai Oza Chowk (Electrical Pole No. AJJ/3) for 24 hrs.

In view of construction of Monorail work at Katrak Road (Albela Hanuman Chowk to D.S.Baretto chowk) and in order to facilitate smooth flow of traffic and safety of people following traffic regulations will be made effective for 24 hrs till completion of Monorail work.

1. “No Entry” for all type of motor vehicles on Katrak Road from Vitthal Rukmini Chowk (Electrical pole no. KR/137 to D.S. Baretto Chowk (Electrical pole no. WDJ-4) and vice versa.

2. “No Entry” for all type of heavy vehicles including trucks, tempos, goods vehicles and BEST Buses from Albela Hanuman Chowk (Electrical pole no. KR/117 to D.S. Baretto Chowk and vice versa.

3. All types of heavy vehicles including trucks, tempos, goods vehicle and BEST buses plying from Tilak Road, G.D. Ambekar Road & R.A.K. Road towards Katrak Road will be using alternate Balaram Khedekar Marg.

4. Only light motor vehicles will ply from Albela Hanuman Chowk (Electrical pole no. KR/117 upto Vitthal Rukmini Chowk and vice versa.

The Traffic Police would also be placing Directional Boards to guide the motorist/ pedestrians besides Traffic Police Staff being posted at these places to render assistance, and to ensure that lowest inconvenience is caused to the road users.

Notification on No Right Turn at Hill Road, Bandra

O R D E R

No. 134/DCP/T/TEMP/2009.

There shall be "No Right Turn" for the vehicles proceeding to Band Stand at the junction of Hill Road and B.J. Road for 24 Hrs.

The above order is issued on experimental basis for 15 days from 1800 hrs. on 18/12/2009to 01/01/2010 and shall be continued on permanent basis if there is no any problem.

Traffic arrangements due to Metro Rly Project at Ghatkopar (West)

In view of the Metro Rly. works carried out by the Mumbai Metro One Pvt. Ltd. Company a large number of vehicular traffic will be diverted. In order to facilitate smooth flow of traffic the following traffic regulations will be made from 19th Feb, 2008

Ghatkopar (West) :-

1. Movements of all types of Heavy Motor vehicles shall be prohibited on the

L.B.S Road, Ghatkopar (W) from its junction with Vasantdada Patil Marg (Ghatkopar link Road Junction) to Kamani-Kwrla (West). Junction from

08.00 hrs to 11.30 hrs and 17.00 hrs to 21.00 hrs.

2. The Dhruvaraj Marg, Ghatkopar (W) shall be One Way from its junction with L.B.S Marg to its Junction with J.P Road, all types of vehicles intending to go towards Ghatkopar Station shall use Keshavrao Kharat Marg, Laxminarayan Road

( Uday Cinema Lane) and J.P Road.

3. The Laxminarayan Road, Ghatkopar (W) shall be One Way from its junction

with Dhruvaraj marg, Ghatkopar (W) to its junction with J.V Road.

4. Parking of all types of Motor vehicles shall be prohibited on either sides of Keshavrava Kharat Marg, Ghatkopar (W).

5. Parking of all types of motor vehicles shall be prohibited on either sides of the Dhruvaraj Marg, Ghatkopar (W)

6. Right turn shall be permitted on the M.G. Road from its junction with L.B.S Road (R.B. Kadam Junction ) towards Sarvoday Junction.

7. Movements of all types of vehicles shall be prohibited on the Hirachand Desai Road, Ghatkopar (W) from Sarvoday Junction to J.V Road Junction (near Bata shop).

Informatory boards will be placed at various places. Traffic Police personnel will be posted to guide in order to ensure that least inconvenience is caused to the motorists. However, delays may be anticipated and journey be planned accordingly.

Proposed works of Metro -One Railway & Traffic Regulations

In View of the proposed works of Metro One Railway being carried out By the Mumbai Metro One Pvt. Ltd. Company in the jurisdiction of the D.N. Nagar Traffic Division, Andheri (W), Mumbai and in order to prevent danger, obstructions and inconvenience to the public, movement of vehicular traffic shall be regulated from 20th February, 2009, as under.

ONE WAY ROADS

1 ) The Bhardawadi Lane, Andheri (W)shall be ‘One way’ from its junction with S.V.Road to its junction with J.P. Road, i.e. there shall be No Entry for all types of motor vehicles on the Bhardawadi lane from its junction with J.P. Road towards S.V. Road. i.e. from West to East direction.
2) 'No entry' for all motor vehicles on the J. P. Road, Andheri ( W) from S.V. Road upto Navrang Cinema. 'No entry' for all vehicles from Navrang cinema on J. P. Road towards S.V.Road.

 

NO PARKING

1) Parking of all types of motor vehicles shall be prohibited on either sides of the Bhardawadi Lane, Andheri (W) from its junction with S.V. Road to Its junction with J.P. Road, for 24 Hrs.

2) Parking of all types of motor vehicles shall be prohibited on either sides of the Caesar Road , Andheri (W) from its junction with S.V. Road (Amboli Junction) to Its junction with J.P. Road, for 24 Hrs.
