Traffic arrangements for Kala Ghoda Festivalr ROB |

Kalaghoda Festival is gong to be celebrated at K. Dubhash Marg from 4th Feb.2012 to 12th Feb 2012 and at Asiatic Steps there will be a Music concert on 11th and 12th February 2012.During the festival huge crowd visit at the site and in order to avoide inconvenience to public the following changes have been made in present traffic pattern at above mentioned two places.
1) K. Dubhash Marg From the junction M.G. Road ( Kala Ghoda) to the Junction of Shahid Bhagatsingh Road ( Lion Gate) shall be closed for all type of vehicular traffic from 04/02/2012 to 12/02/2012 . Motorists are requested to use Sahid Bhagatsingh Road M.G. Road to reach at their distination. 2) The strech of Shahid Bhagatsing Road in front of Asiatic Library shall be closed for all types of vehicular traffic on 11th and 12th of February 2012 from 16.00 hrs to 22.00 hrs. , Vehicles shall move around Horniman Circle Garden.

The Birth Anniversary of His Holiness Hajrat Mohammad Paigamber will be celebrated on 05/02/2012. On this occassion a procession will be taken out from Khilafat House, Seth Motisha Lane Byculla at 14.00 hrs. A large number of trucks and motor vehicles will participate in this procession and the traffic on the route of procession will be affected.
In order to ensure smooth flow of traffic, the below mentioned traffic restrictions will be imposed by Traffic Control Branch from 15.00 hrs to 21-00 hrs on 05/02/2012 till the procession is over.

INSTRUCTION FOR PEOPLE TAKING PART IN THE PROCESSION WITH MOTER VEHICLES
A) Motorist coming towards the procession from Bandra (W) should take left turn at Mahim Jn. Motorist coming from Western Suburbs,Western Exprees highway Should come via Kalanagar , Dharavi , Link Road -left turn-Sion Railway Station -Sion Jn-Right turn-Sion circle ,Soin hospital - Matunga Flyover - Rafi Ahmed Kidwai Marg -Barister Nath Pai marg -Kakalij Chowk - right turn- Jinabia Rathod -right turn - Sivdas Chapsi Marg -and further via Parab Chowk onwards
B) Motorist, for the procession, coming through Estern suburbs should come via sion cercle -Sion Hospital - and further via above mantioned routes.
C) Motorist, for the procession,coming through Central Mumbai should come upto Byculla -Dadoji Kondeo rd-E.S Patanwala Marg -Barister Nath Pai Marg -Kakalij Chowk- right turn - Sivdas Chapsi Mmarg to Parab chowk-Mazagaon and further.
Motorist, for the procession,coming through South Mumbai should use P.D’Mello Rd - Kakalij Chowk - left turn- Jinabai Rathod -right turn - Sivdas Chapsi Marg - Parab Chowk- and Mazagaon and further.
GENERAL INSTRUCTION TO MOTORIST
a] Motorist intending to go to South Mumbai should use Chinchpokli Bridge-N.M Joshi Marg,- S.Bridge-right turn- K.K. Marg- Satrasta Circle- Sane Guruji Marg-Dr.A Nair Road-Dr.D B Marg-M K Road-and further South.
b] Motorist on Dr.BA. rd going towards South Mumbai will take left turn at Dadoji Konddev jn.through E.S. Patanwala Rd. will approch Nath Pai Rd,take a right turn towords South Mumbai
c) Motorist from South Mumbai on Dr. B.A.Rd towards North Bound to take right turn at Nesbit Jn, Seth Motishah Lane Jn, Sant Sawta Jn they will go strate towards Dadar.
d)Motorist from South Mumbai intending to go to towards North should use Dr.D N Road - L T Marg - Metro - Anandilal Podar Marg- M K Road- and to North Mumbai via Metro - J S S Road- Princess Street- Marine Drive.
e] J J Flyover Bridge will be open for North Bound traffic.
f] South bound traffic can use Sir J J Road- J J Flyover Bridge- Mohd Ali Road- till the procession has reached Sir J J Jn.
g] Similarly after the procession has taken right turn from Byculla Bridge the South bound traffic can use J J Flyover Bridge for South Movement.
The people are requested to comply the instructions given by Traffic Policeman deployed at strategic points. Necessary direction and informative boards will be put up at important Jn. to guide the motorists.

A) In order to regulate this procession smoothly and to prevent inconvenience to general public following restrictions are imposed on vehicular traffic for below mentioned timings or till the procession is over.

There shall be 'No Entry ' and 'No parking’ for vehicular traffic on following roads between 03.00 to 09.00 p.m.

Traffic arrangements after the opening of Rajeev Gandhi Flyover at Andheri (East), Mumbair ROB |

After opening of Rajiv Gandhi flyover bridge for vehicular traffic, following traffic arrangement will be enforce for the smooth movement of the Vehicular traffic.
1. S. V. Road, Rajiv Gandhi Junction, Andheri (W), Mumbai (South
Bound)
a. S. V. Road, Rajiv Gandhi Junction, Andheri (W), Mumbai (South
Bound) :- After opening of Rajiv Gandhi flyover bridge for vehicular
traffic, vehicles from South bound of S. V. Road will ply straight towards
Vileparle & will take left turn for Gokhale bridge and for J.V.P.D it will
take right turn.
b. S. V. Road, Rajiv Gandhi Junction, Andheri (W), Mumbai (North Bound) :- After opening of Rajiv Gandhi flyover bridge for vehicular traffic, vehicles from North bound of S. V. Road will ply straight towards Andheri Railway Station (W) & will take left turn for J.V.P.D and for Gokhale bridge it will take right turn.
c. Gokhale Bridge :- After opening of Rajiv Gandhi flyover bridge for vehicular traffic, vehicles from East bound of Gokhale bridge will ply straight towards J.V.P.D & will take left turn for Andheri Railway Station (W) and for S. V. Road it will take right turn.
d. C. D. Barfiwal Road :- After opening of Rajiv Gandhi flyover bridge for
vehicular traffic, vehicles from West bound of C. D. Burfiwala Road
will ply straight towards Gokhale bridge & will take left turn for Andheri
Railway Station (W) and for S. V. Road it will take right turn.
2. S. V. Road, Mahila Mandal junction :- After opening of Rajiv Gandhi
flyover bridge for vehicular traffic, vehicles from West bound of
Burfiwala Lane will ply straight towards Lallubhai park & will take left
turn for Rajiv Gandhi junction and for Irla junction it will take right turn.
3. On Barfiwala Road vehicles will ply on both direction. Vehicles from
West bound of Gulmohar Road will take Right turn for C. D. Barfiwala
Road and Vehicles from East bound of Gulmohar Road will take Right
turn for C. D. Barfiwala Road.
4. B. M. W. junction :- vehicles from North bound of Azad Lane will take
Left turn towards Tipusultan Chowk & will take U turn for Railway
Station (W)/ Gokhale Bridge. vehicles from South bound of Upasana
Lane will take Left turn towards Rajiv Gandhi junction & will take U turn
for Sujay Hospital.

Traffic arrangements at Ghatkopar for the construction of Ghatkopar-Andheri Link Road
|
|
In view of construction of the Metro Railway and Andheri Ghatkopar Link Road. In order to facilitate smooth flow of traffic and safety of people, following traffic regulation will be made effective from date 30 December 2011.
1. There shall be "No-Entry" to all types of Vehicles on R.B.Kadam Marg, Ghatkopar (w)
2. All Vehicular traffic on R.B.Kadam Marg will go through Asalfa Junction & moving towards
Narsi Mehta Junction will further go towards L.B.S Marg,Ghatkopar (w)
3. There shall be No Left Turn on Khairani Road to go to R.B.Kadam Marg further towards
L.B.S.Marg, Ghatkopar (w)
4. Vehicular Traffic on Khairani Road will take Right Turn to go towards Narsi Mehta Marg
moving towards L.B.S.Marg, Ghatkopar (w)
5. There shall be No Right Turn and No Left Turn on Junction of Karani Road and
L.B.S.Marg Ghatkopar (w) to go towards Asalfa Junction and Sakinaka Junction.
6. Vehicular Traffic on L.B.S.Marg will Take Right Turn and Left Turn on Narsi Mehta Junction to go towards Asalfa Junction and Sakinaka Junction.
The above order will be enforce till the construction work of Metro Railway and Andheri Ghatkopar Link Road gets completed.

Traffic arrangements at Bhoiwada Area

In view of construction of Monorail work at Dr.E.Borges Road from Khanolkar Chowk to Palav Sadan Junction (Tata Memorial Hospital Chowk) and in order to facilitate smooth flow of traffic and safety of people following traffic regulations will be made effective temporarily for 24 hrs. till completion of Monorail work.
1) “No Entry” for all types of motor vehicles including BEST Buses (except Tata Memorial Hospital vehicles) of Dr.E.Borges Road on both sides from Khanolkar Chowk to Palav Sadan Junction (Tata Memorial Hospital Chowk) for 24 hrs.
2) All South bound traffic including BEST Buses plying on Dr.E.Borges Road from Palav Sadan Junction (Tata Memorial Hospital Chowk) to Khanolkar Chowk will be diverted at the Jerbai Wadia Road - Parel T.T. Junction - left turn - Acharya Donde Marg - towards Khanolkar Chowk.
3) All North bound traffic including BEST Buses plying on Dr.E.Borges Road from Khanolkar Chowk to Palav Sadan Junction (Tata Memorial Hospital Chowk) will be diverted at the Acharya Donde Marg - Sant Gora Kumbhar Chowk - left turn - G.D.Ambekar Road - Mane Master Chowk - left turn - Jerbai Wadia Road - towards Palav Sadan Junction (Tata Memorial Hospital Chowk).
4) Jerbai Wadia Road from Parel T.T. Junction to Palav Sadan Junction (Tata Memorial Hospital Chowk), which is now One Way and will have to be converted into Two Way for all types of motor vehicles.
5) “No Entry” for heavy vehicles including BEST Buses on the G.D.Ambekar Road from Mane Master Chowk to Sant Gora Kumbhar Chowk for 24 hrs.
6) Parking of all types of motor vehicles shall be prohibited on the following roads for 24 hrs. –
1. Jerbai Wadia Road – from its junction with Parel T.T. Junction to its junction
with Mane Master Chowk.
2. G.D.Ambekar Road – from its junction with Sant Gora Kumbhar Chowk to its
junction with Mane Master Chowk.
The Traffic Police would also be placing Directional Boards to guide the motorist / pedestrians besides Traffic Police Staff being posted at these places to render assistance and to ensure that lowest inconvenience is caused to the road users.

In view of Cement Concretization work at Dr.E.Borges Road & Dr.S.S.Rao Road and in order to facilitate smooth flow of traffic and safety of people following traffic regulations will be made effective temporarily for 24 hrs. till completion of Cement Concretization work.
1) There shall be “One Way” for all types of motor vehicles including BEST Buses of Dr.E.Borges Road on South bound from Parmar Guruji Road, Gavkar Chowk to Supari Baug Junction for 24 hrs.
2) There shall be “No Entry” for all types of motor vehicles including BEST Buses of Dr.E.Borges Road on North bound from Supari Baug Junction to Parmar Guruji Road, Gavkar Chowk for 24 hrs.
3) All North bound traffic including BEST Buses plying on Dr.E.Borges Road from Supari Baug Junction to Parmar Guruji Road, Gavkar Chowk will be diverted at the Dr.B.A.Road - Parel T.T. Junction - right turn - Acharya Donde Marg - Khanolkar Chowk - right turn - Dr.E.Borges Road - towards Gavkar Chowk.
4) There shall be “One Way” for all types of motor vehicles including BEST Buses of Dr.S.S.Rao Road on North bound from Gopal Naik Chowk to Acharya Donde Road, Haffkin Institute for 24 hrs.
5) There shall be “No Entry” for all types of motor vehicles including BEST Buses of Dr.S.S.Rao Road on South bound from Acharya Donde Road, Haffkin Institute to Gopal Naik Chowk for 24 hrs.
6) All South bound traffic including BEST Buses plying on Dr.S.S.Rao Road from Acharya Donde Road, Haffkin Institute to Gopal Naik Chowk will be diverted at the Acharya Donde Road - Khanolkar Chowk - left turn - Dr.E.Borges Road - Supari Baug Junction - left turn - Dr.B.A.Road, south bound - Bharatmata Junction - left turn - towards Gopal Naik Chowk.

In view of “Recruitment of Police Constable-2011” and in order to facilitate smooth flow of vehicular traffic during the Recruitment Procedure and following traffic regulations will be made effective temporarily basis till completion of Recruitment Procedure.
“NO ENTRY”
1. B. J. Devrukhkar Marg :- On both sides from G.D.Ambekar Marg junction to Dahiwalkar Buwa Marg junction.
2. Pramod Pednekar Marg :- On both sides from B.J.Devrukhkar Marg junction to S.S.Wagh Marg junction.
3. Road No. 14 :- On both sides from G.D.Ambekar Marg junction to Dahiwalkar Buwa Marg junction.
“NO PARKING”
1. Dahiwalkar Buwa Marg :- from its junction with Road No. 14 to its junction with S.S.Wagh Marg.

Traffic arrangements at Matunga
|
|
1. There shall be 'No Entry' for North bound traffic plying between G.D Ambekar Marg and Vitthal Rukhmini Chowk, via Albela Hanuman Chowk.
2. There shall be “No Entry” for South bound traffic plying between Barreto circle and Albela Hanuman Chowk via Vitthal Rukhmini Chowk.
3. All North bound traffic plying along G. D. Ambekar Marg and proceeding towards Vitthal Rukhmini Chowk, Via Albela Hanuman Chowk, will be diverted along Balaram Khedekar Marg – D. S. Barreto Circle for further journey.
4. All South bound traffic plying along Katrak road and proceeding towards Albela Hanuman Chowk Via Vitthal Rukhmini Chowk will be diverted along D. S. Barreto circle, Balaram Khedekar Marg for further journey.
5. There will be “NO Parking” along the entire stretch of Blaram Kedekar Marg & Road No.23 from it's junction on Balaram Khedekar Marg up to Albela Hanuman chowk.
The above order is issued on temporary basis till the completion of Monorail work

The left & Right turn from Kaklij Chowk Juntion to Jinabhai Rathod Marg shall be banned for all types of vehicles going towards Hancock Bridge.

Traffic arrangements at Andheri for the construction of Metro Bridge
|
|
In view of the Metro Rly. Works carried out by the Mumbai Metro One Pvt. Ltd. Company a large number of Veera Desai road vehicular traffic will be diverted from Courtyard Hotel junction left & right turn on Dattaji Salvi Raod, then left turn on link road to Indian Oil junction on J.P.Road. . In order to facilitate smooth flow of traffic and for the safety of the people following traffic regulations will be made effective from 20 / Sept ./2011.
NO ENTRY
1) Entry to all type of vehicles on Veera Desai Raod, Andheri West, from the junction on J.P.Road, Andheri West i.e. from South to North shall be prohibited for 24 hrs.
Vehicular traffic,on J.P. Raod is diverted from J.P.Road Indian Oil junction right turn on Link Road then right turn on Dattaji Salvi Raod, towards Courtyard Hotel junction on Veera Desai Raod
2) Entry to all type of vehicles on J.P. Raod, Andheri West, from the junction on Veera Desai Road, Andheri West i.e. from North to South shall be prohibited for 24 hrs.
Vehicular traffic,on Veera Desai Raod is diverted from Courtyard Hotel junction left & right turn on Dattaji Salvi Raod, then will take left turn on link road to Indian Oil junction on J.P.Road.

In view of construction of the Jagruti Metro Railway Station at Asalfa, Ghatkopar Andheri Link Road. In order to facilitate smooth flow of traffic and safety of people, following traffic regulation will be made effective from date 10th May 2011.
1. There shall be "No-Entry" to all Vehicles coming from Narsi Mehta Junction & moving towards Asalfa by Narsi Mehta Road.
2. All Vehicular traffic coming from Asalfa & moving towards Narsi Mehta Junction will be diverted by R.B.Kadam Marg towards L.B.S. Marg.
3. Heavy Vehicles coming from L.B.S Marg & moving towards Asalfa will be diverted to Kurla-Andheri Road from Kamani Junction of L.B.S. Marg. Through Kale Marg.
4. Light Vehicles coming from L.B.S. Marg & moving towards Asalfa will be diverted by Nari Seva Sadan Marg from Naupada Junction/Mahindra Park & also from Kamani Junction/Telephone Exchange towards R.B.Kadam Marg.
The above order will be enforce till the construction work of Metro Railway Station at Asalfa/ Jagruti Nagar, (Ghatkopar (w))

In view of construction of Monorail work at Mahadeo Palav Marg from Bharatmata Junction to Shingate Master Chowk and in order to facilitate smooth flow of traffic and safety of people following traffic regulations will be made effective temporarily for 24 hrs. till completion of Monorail work.
1) There shall be “No Entry” for all types of motor vehicles including BEST Buses on Mahadeo Palav Marg from Bharatmata Junction to Shingate Master Chowk for 24 hrs.
2) There shall be “One Way” for all types of motor vehicles including BEST Buses on Mahadeo Palav Marg from Shingate Master Chowk to Bharatmata Junction for 24 hrs.
3) All West bound traffic including BEST Buses plying on Mahadeo Palav Marg from Bharatmata Junction to Shingate Master Chowk will be diverted on Dr.B.A.Road, Bharatmata Junction straight to the Dr.B.A.Road, Sane Guruji Marg Junction (Gas Company Junction) – right turn – Sane Guruji Marg – Chinckpokli Railway Overbridge – Com. Ganacharya Chowk – right turn – N.M.Joshi Marg – towards Shingate Master Chowk.

In view of the Metro Rly. Works carried out by the Mumbai Metro One Pvt. Ltd. Company a large number of J.P.Road East bond vehicular traffic will be diverted from J.P.Road , Vateshwar Mandir junction towards right on Versova east link Raod, then left turn on Lowprice Lane, then left turn on Bon Bon lane to Bon Bon & Madel Town Junction on J.P.Road, then to Model Town road, then right turn towards Achyutrao Patwardhan Raod, then right turn to Char Banglow junction. In order to facilitate smooth flow of traffic and for the safety of the people following traffic regulations will be made effective from January, 2011.
NO ENTRY
1) Entry to all type of vehicles on J.P.Road East bound, Andheri West, from Seven Banglow BEST Depote to the Junction of J.P.Road & Model Town road, & further from Junction of Bon-Bon & J.P.road to Char Banglow junction on J.P.road, Andheri West i.e. from West to East shall be prohibited for 24 hrs.
1) East bond vehicular traffic,on J.P.Road is diverted from Vateshwar Mandir junction towards right on Versova east link Raod, then left turn on Lowprice Lane, then left turn on Bon Bon lane upto Bon Bon & Model Town Junction on J.P.Road, then to Model Town Road, then right turn towards Achyutrao Patwardhan Raod, then right turn to Char Banglow junction on J.P.Road.
2) Entry to all type of vehicles on Versova east link Raod, Andheri West, from Usha Swapana building (Versova east link Raod & Lowprice Lane junction) to Vateshwar Mandir junction on J.P.Road, Andheri West i.e. from South to North shall be prohibited for 24 hrs.
North bond vehicular traffic,on Versova east link Raod is diverted from Usha Swapana building (Versova east link Raod & Lowprice Lane junction) towards left Versova east link Raod, then right turn on Versova west link Raod, go to Vateshwar Mandir junction on J.P.Road.
3) Entry to all type of vehicles on Model Town Raod, Andheri West, from Gloriya building to Model Town Road & J.P.Road junction, Andheri West i.e. from North to South shall be prohibited for 24 hrs.
South bond vehicular traffic,on Model Town Raod is diverted from Gioriya building towards left on Internal Raod, then right turn towards Achyutrao Patwardhan Raod, then right turn to Char Banglow junction on J.P.Road.
NO PARKING
1) ‘No Parking’ to all type of vehicles on Versova east link Raod from See Crist building (Ele. Pol No.KJP/003/136) to Usha Swapana building (Ele.Pol No.KBU/21/007) Both side.
2) ‘No Parking’ to all type of vehicles on Lowprice Lane from Usha Swapana building (Versova east link Raod & Lowprice Lane junction) to Gaiyatri building (Ele.Pol.KBU/13/013) Both side.
3) ‘No Parking’ to all type of vehicles on Maharashtra Lane from Maharashtra Bank building (Ele. Pol No.KBU/ 13/043) to Everst building (Ele.Pol.KBU/13/022 ) Both side.
4) ‘No Parking’ to all type of vehicles on Bon-Bon Lane from the Junction of Lowprice Lane & Bon-Bon lane to Bon-Bon & J.P.road Junction on north bond.

In view widening of Mithi river Bridge on Kurla Kalina Road, in order to facilited smooth flow of traffic and safety of people, following traffic regulation will be made effective from the Date 25.2.2011 till the work of widening of the Mithi river bridge is completed.
1. There shall be "No-Entry" to all vehicle’s coming from North and South Bound L.B.S.Marg and moving towards Kurla (w) from Kalpana Talkies Junction. and also to all vehicles coming from Kalina Junction and moving towards Kalpana Talkies Junction L.B.S. Marg.
2. Vehicular traffic coming from LBS Marg, moving towards Kurla Kalina Road from Kalpana Talkies Juction shall be diverted from Kurla Depot Junction towards C.S.T.Road. Further leading to Razza Chowk and Mohhammadi Estate.
3. Light vehicles traffic coming from Kalina Junction and moving towards Kalpana Junction shall be diverted from Kalina junction towards Mohhammadi Estate, Razza Chowk and further leading towards Kurla Depot Junction on LBS road.
4. Heavy vehicles coming from Kalina Junction shall be diverted from Kalina Junction towards Mohhammadi Estate and MTNL Junction and further to Surve Chowk on LBS marg.

As the Monorail Work is going to start on Saibaba Road & G.D.Ambekar Marg for safe & smooth traffic flow the Parking of all types of Motor Vehicles shall be prohibited for 24 hrs on both sides of the G.D.Ambekar Marg from its junction Sai Baba Marg to G.D Ambekar Marg, Parel Village.
• Parking of all types of Motor Vehicles shall be prohibited for 24 hrs on both sides of the G.D Ambekar Marg, Parel Village up to Wadia Baug Bldg i.e (Upper side) (Electric Pole No PT 95 to Electric Pole No PT 51 )
• Entry of all types of Motor Vehicles shall be prohibited for 24 hrs on G.D Ambekar Marg from it’s Junction with Sai Baba Road to Parel Village from Electric Pole No PT 76 To PT 95, Vehicles will be allowed to ply from the Upper side of the above stretch in both directions ( Electric Pole No PT 95 to Electric Pole No PT 51) & Lower level ( Electric Pole No PT 52 to Electric Pole No PT 72)

1. There shall be “No Entry” to the vehicular traffic coming from Shaikh Mistry Dargah Road and Lilabai Kasbe marg Jn. upto Sundarlingam Devendra Chowk (Mukundrao Ambedkar Marg).
2. All north bound traffic (Including BEST Bus) of Shaikh Mistry Dargah Road proceeding towards Sundarlingam Devendra Chowk will take left turn at the junction of Lilabai Kasbe marg & Shaikh Mistry Dargah Road and will be proceeding along Lilabai Kasbe Marg towards Mukundrao Ambedkar Marg via R.Jamalsingh Marg.
3. Shaikh Mistry Dargah Road will be “One way” for South bound traffic from Sundarlingam Devendra Chowk (Mukundrao Ambedkar Marg) towards the junction of Lilabai Kasbe marg Jn & Shaikh Mistry Dargah Road.
4. “No Parking” for all types of motor vehicles along Lilabai Kasbe Marg, R. Jamal sing Marg & Shaikh Mistry Dargah Road upto junction of Lilabai Kasbe Marg from Sundarlingam Devendra Chowk.

In view of construction of Monorail work at G.D.Ambekar Road from Sarfare Chowk to Albela Hanuman Chowk and in order to facilitate smooth flow of traffic and safety of people following traffic regulations will be made effective temporarily for 24 hrs. till completion of Monorail work.
1. “No Entry” for all types of motor vehicles including BEST Buses plying on G.D. Ambekar Road from Sarfare Chowk to Albela Hanuman Chowk for 24 hrs.
2. All types of motor vehicles including BEST Buses plying on G.D.Ambekar Road from Sarfare Chowk to Albela Hanuman Chowk will be diverted at the Naigaon Cross Road - left turn - Ganesh Mandir Road - left turn - Tilak Road towards Albela Hanuman Chowk.
3. Parking of all types of motor vehicles shall be prohibited on the Eastern side of Ganesh Mandir Road from its junction of Naigaon Cross Road to its junction of Tilak Road for 24 hrs.
