Traffic Regualations

(1) CLOSURE OF ROAD :- Mohmmed Ali Road from it's junction with Lokmanya Tilak Marg (Chakala Junction / Baburao Shette Chowk) shall be closed for North Bond Traffic upto Mandvi Junction due to concretisation of Mohd. Ali Road North Bond carriage way.

All traffic proceeding North will be diverted on Abdul Rehman Street for it's Junction with Lokmanya Tilak Marg.

(2) PARKING RESTRICTIONS :-
(a) Parking, loading and unloading for all types of motor vehicles shall be prohibited on both sides of Abdul Rehman Street from it's junction with Lokmanya Tilak Marg upto Yusuf Meherali Road.
(b) Parking, loading and unloading for all types of motor vehicles shall be prohibited on both sides of Ibrahim Rehamatullah Road from it's junction with Abdul Rehman Street upto it's junction with Mohmed Ali Road. (Mandvi Junction)

(3) Mohmmed Ali Road from its junction :-

PARKING RESTRICTIONS :-
(a) Parking, loading and unloading for all types of motor vehicles shall be prohibited on both sides of Abdul Rehman Street from it's junction with Lokmanya Tilak Marg upto Yusuf Meherali Road.
(b) Parking, loading and unloading for all types of motor vehicles shall be prohibited on both sides of Ibrahim Rehamatullah Road from it's junction with Abdul Rehman Street upto it's junction with Mohmed Ali Road. (Mandvi Junction)
All road users are requested to co-operate, inconvenience is regretted.

Tr. Regulations at Metro Junction

Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai under Mumbai Urban Transport Project - 2 (MUTP-2) have proposed to construct a Pedestrian Grade Subway at Metro Junction, which will have arms all around the Junction.

Traffic Control Branch has formulated certain restrictions in order to have proper regulation, ensure smooth, flow of traffic during the construction period and for the safety of all road users.
Closure of Roads

1) Anandilal Poddar Marg will be completely closed for all types of vehicular traffic.

2) Kalbadevi Road at Metro Jn. will be closed for all type of vehicular traffic.
Instruction to Motorists:

a) Motorists intending to go towards Mahapalika Marg - M.G. Road - L.T. Rd. via Anandilal Poddar Marg will use M.K. Road - Churchgate -C.T.O.-O.C.S. to reach their destination.
b) Motorists intending to go towards Mahapalika Marg - M.G. Rd. - L.T. Rd. via Kalbadevi Rd. may use Picket Road and come out at L.T. Rd. Police Station Jn. and proceed to their destination.
c) Motorists intending to approach Metro Jn. via Marine Drive (Princess Street Flyover) may go via Sunder Mahal Jn. - Churchgate Jn. C.T.O. Jn. O.C.S. Jn. and proceed to their destination.
d) Bombay Hospital lane will be made one way in reverse direction i.e. East to West direction i.e. entry for motor vehicles from M.G. Rd. on to Bombay Hospital lane. This may be used by motorists for moving towards M.K.Rd. from M.G.Rd. side.
e) There shall be "No Right Turn /"U" Turn at Bombay Hospital Lane Jn. and Bombay Gymkhana Jn. for motor vehicles moving from Metro Jn. on M.G. Rd. to South side.
PARKING RESTRICTIONS

There shall be No parking for all types of Motor Vehicle on below mention roads.

1) L.T. Marg
2) Cinema Lane
3) Bombay Hospital lane
4) Vithaldas Thackersey Marg (from Bomaby Hospital up to Anandilal Poddar Marg)
5) J.S.S. Road from Metro Jn. to Princess Street Jn.
6) Shyamaldas Gandhi Marg (Princess Street Jn. to M.K. Road Jn.)
7) Motorist intending is go towards M.K. Road from L.T. Marg may go via M.G. Road -
Hutatma Chowk - Churchgate - M.K. Road

Motorists are requested to follow the instruction given by Traffic Police at various junctions and help to ensure smooth flow of traffic.

Metro Junction Subway
Municiapal Corporation of Greater Mumbai under Transport Porject-2 (MUTP-2) have proposed to sonstruct a Pedestrain Grade Subway at Metro Junction. The work of the said Subway is already in progress and part of the work has been completed.

The MCGM Engineers have requested Traffic Control Branch to close the north bound carriageway of Mahapalika Marg in order to lay precast gurders.

Traffic Control Branch has formulated cirtain restriction in order to have proper regulation, ensure smooth flow of traffic during the construction period and for the safety of all road users.

CLOSURE OF ROADS
1) Mahapalika Marg north bound will be completely close for vehicular traffic.
2) Mahapalika Marg south bound will be open for vehicular traffic.

INSTRUCTION TO MOTORIST
1) Motorist coming form Hutatma Chowk- D.N road amd intending to go towards Marine Drive via Metro Junction can use C.S.T Junction, D.N Road- Crawford Market-L.T Marg-Metro Junction-J.S.S Road and further.

2) The BEST buses in north direction i.e total 8 in number hav ebeen diverted by D.N Road- Crawford Market-L.T Marg-Metro Junction and further.

3) Motorist can use4 Mahapalika Marg( South bound) from Metro Junction to approach Xavier Colege, Azad maidan, Municipal Head Quarter, Cama Hospital etc, but there will be no exit from Mahapalika Marg on to Metro Junction.

PARKING RESTRICTION
1) There shall be No Parking on the stretch of D.N Road from C.S.T Junction to Crawford Market Junction( north bound carriageway)

2) The existing restriction will be in existence till date the work of Subway on Mahapalika Marg north bound is completed.
Motorist are requested to follow the instruction given by traffic police at various junction and help to ensure smooth flow of traffic.
