The Mumbai Traffic Police spearheads yet another citizen-friendly initiative, the IVRS (Integrated Voice Response System) helpline. To effectively enable traffic personnel to quickly address traffic issues. Provided by Reliance, the helpline 3040 3040, assists in better traffic regulation and service to road users.

Salient features of the IVRS:

  • English, Hindi and Marathi language options guide users

  • Voice prompts to specific traffic jams, accidents, suggestions, complaint sections

  • Quick response time, approx. 10-15 minutes, includes time taken to transfer data from the server to Traffic Control Room.
